VoiceHacker Accents puts the power of an accent coach in your hands. Every accent is composed of sounds - and by making small changes to each sound, you can change your accent. It's written by an expert - a 4,000-lesson voice coach with a Masters in Voice: Matt Pocock.
Our app lets you master each sound. Let's say you're not sure how to pronounce a 'TH' sound. Well, just press the symbol representing the 'TH' (/θ/ or /ð/). You'll hear what sound it represents, and you can click 'practice' to get a list of words to help you practice the sound. You'll even hear Matt saying every word out loud so you can mimic.
Every sound is in RP, so you can master a British accent. And with nearly 500 practice words and over 3,000 words of descriptions, there's plenty to dig in to.
You can even use the app as a jumping-off point for other accents: just visit Matt's YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/PianoPlonker/ to get breakdowns of other accents using the app.
